Terms and Conditions:
The following terms and conditions apply to the use of the above named stud. By the signatures below, the owners of the dog and of the bitch undertake and agree to these terms:
- The stud fee for the above named dog is $550.00. Payment for ½ of the stud fee is due before stud service is afforded to the bitch. The remainder can also be paid upfront with a post dated cheque until the puppies born.
- The bitch must be healthy and free from external and internal parasites. The owner of the bitch declares that neither the bitch nor her kennel mates have distemper, mange, parvo-influenza, coronavirus, or canine brucellosis during the past six months. The owner of the bitch will provide a Vet certificate of health to this effect upon the request of the owner.
- It is agreed between the parties that the owner of the stud is not responsible for the Care, health or conditions of the bitch following service or the whelping or post Natal care of the bitch or her litter.
- The issue 1 live puppy constitutes the litter forthe purpose of this agreement.
- Should there be no issue from the stud service, there will be a fee of a day for kennel fees, and the remainder of the money will be returned.
- The owner of the bitch agrees that none of the puppies resulting from this stud service will be sold to, or through dealers or pet shops, and that the responsible care will be exercised to assure the selection of suitable purchasers for the puppies. In all possible cases, the puppies will be sold with Canadian Kennel Club Non-Breeding agreements.
- The stud owner agrees to provide, at no additional cost to the bitch’s owner, the necessary certificate of stud service or similar document to facilitate the registration of the litter in accordance with the Canadian Kennel Club requirements.
- The stud owner will exercise diligent and responsible care in, supervision, feeding and attendance upon the bitch for the time that she is in her custody while being serviced. However, no liability is assumed or implied for injury or death occasioned to the bitch as a consequence of the stud service itself, or as the result of an escape by the bitch
